Egorlykskaya district is located in the southwest of the Rostov region, on the border with Krasnodar region. Its area is 1460 km ², which is 1.5% of the territory of the Rostov region and about 0.009% of the territory of Russia. On the area of the district is free to fit four of these states like Andorra.The length of the district from north to south (latitude extreme northern point) is 50 km. Distance from west to east (longitude extreme western point) - is 42 km. The main branch of the district's economy is agriculture, especially grain and livestock areas. Production of agricultural products occupied 16 farms and 1002 (peasant) farms. In the area there are 8 shops for processing grain into flour, 9 shops for processing sunflower seeds, two shops of pasta, 11 bakeries, processing line butter and shop for the production of fermented milk products.
